Closure Of Roads And Greenway Sunday Morning
The Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon and 5K return this Sunday Morning, October 23, and brings with them road and lane closures and the closure of a section of the Big Creek Greenway. Closure times vary by location but generally will occur between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Expect Fireworks On Monday, October 24
October 24 is the third day of Diwali, the five-day Festival of Lights celebrated by millions of Hindus, Sikhs and Jains across the world, including a large number of Alpharetta residents. The festival generally symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, and a common part of the celebration on the third day is fireworks.
