Independence Day at Colonial Sunbury

Celebrate Independence Day with a bang! Visitors will experience musket, and cannon firing demonstrations each hour. Also fun for the younger ones, or the simply the young at heart, enjoy yourself playing hands-on some of the old fashioned toys and games that were common place. Sack races, jump rope, bean bags, and more will be available.

Since it origin 247 years ago, the 4th of July in America has traditionally been marked and celebrated with fireworks, and all sorts of revelry. Step thorough time back to when it all began, and experience with your own senses the sites and sounds of America's Independence!
