Along with 60+ authors, the event creator Leah Taylor hopes to use the success of the event to raise money for the Georgia Police K-9 Foundation. Leah dreamed of an event where readers could meet their favorite authors and also raise money to help others... specifically those in public safety.

As the wife of a police officer and former law enforcement herself, Leah has witnessed plenty of heartache for fellow officers and their families—which includes their 4-legged partners.

Leah chose the Georgia Police K-9 Foundation because their mission is to protect and serve active and retired law enforcement k9s throughout Georgia by providing equipment, training, and care, whether they are active or retired.
