Construction To Begin On New Crosswalks
In action taken during their May 2 meeting, the Alpharetta City Council approved a $602,200 contract for the construction of three mid-block crosswalks in various areas of the city.

Downtown Streets Close May 12 For Taste Of Alpharetta
Motorists who travel through Downtown Alpharetta are being warned to plan on taking different routes on Thursday, May 12 as State Route 9 and other roads will be closed due to one of the community’s largest festivals, the Taste of Alpharetta. With some road closures beginning as early as 7:30 AM, the City of Alpharetta is advising anyone who is not attending the event or who does not live or work in or near Downtown Alpharetta to avoid the area.
