Equestrian Center Opening Celebration
The newly built equestrian arena at the Wills Park Equestrian Center is show-ready and looking forward to celebrating its opening on Friday, September 16. The event will include live music, facility tours, and two food trucks will be on site.

Local Option Sales Tax Town Hall
The Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) is an important revenue source for Alpharetta and helps to keep our property tax millage rate low. Every 10 years, Alpharetta and the other 14 cities in Fulton County must negotiate with the County on how LOST revenues will be distributed among each jurisdiction. Join us on September 21 at a Town Hall for a panel discussion on the Local Option Sales Tax, current negotiations, and the potentially dramatic effect on our community.

Glass Recycling Returns September 12
Alpharetta residents will have a new option for recycling glass beginning September 12 when the City of Alpharetta opens a new drop-off center. The center will be located in the parking lot of the Alpharetta Department of Public Works located at 1790 Hembree Road.
