Gwinnett Police celebrates National Faith & Blue Weekend

Gwinnett Police and local faith-based organizations will participate in the National Faith and Blue Weekend, a nationwide effort created to break down biases through outreach among law enforcement and the communities they serve. Several events will take place Friday, October 7 through Monday, October 10.
The department will participate in seven faith-based events including:
Friday, October 7
- Community Block Party: Community Affairs Section, Lenora Park at 4515 Lenora Church Road, Snellville; noon to 3:00pm
- Food Drive and Q&A: West Precinct and Universal Church, 6081 Singleton Road, Norcross; 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Saturday, October 8
- Food Drive/Mobile Food Pantry: Training-Recruit Class #114 and StreetWise, 1770 Cedars Road, Lawrenceville; 9:00am to 1:30pm
- Food Drive: North Precinct and Buford Church of God, 4800 S Lee St, Buford; 11:00am to 2:00pm
Sunday, October 9
- Coat-Blanket Drive: South Precinct and Annistown Road Church, 4554 Annistown Road, Snellville; noon to 2:00pm
- Family Fun Day: Central Precinct, Friendly Village at 9 Pinetree Road, Lawrenceville; 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Monday, October 10
- Faith & Blue Cookout: Bay Creek Precinct, Grayson City Park at 1 Park Drive, Grayson; 11:00am to 1:00pm
- Blood Drive: East Precinct, Red Cross, and Lifeway Church, 2005 Hurricane Shoals Road in Dacula; 11:00am to 2:00pm
