People from around the world call Peachtree City home.

They add their culture and traditions to our beautiful mosaic everyday.

4th graders at Oak Grove Elementary learned about holiday celebrations across the globe, and even got their own passport book.

"We want our students to take their passports home and have discussions with their families about how they celebrate the holidays and how it is similar and different from the way that other countries celebrate," said Brooke Fuller.

Fuller is an EIP teacher at Oak Grove. She teamed up with ESOL teacher Brittan Parker for this global study.

Riley Track Update

Work on replacing Riley Track has been delayed due to the weather.

Cold temps and heavy rains kept crews from resurfacing the popular track.

Public works says a day or two of sunshine to dry out with gravel will help the paving equipment operate at its best.

Crews are still monitoring the weather for favorable conditions. If the weather cooperates, Riley Track will be repaved.

The Holocaust in Historical Context
