City Of Tybee Island News : State of Emergency Declared for Chatham and Georgia

Gov. Brian Kemp issued a state of emergency this evening for Georgia ahead of Hurricane Ian's arrival later this week.

Chatham County Chairman Chester Ellis also declared a state of emergency for Chatham County today.

These measures will allow us to maximize all resources for a safe and speedy recovery from the storm. Please follow the provided links to read these orders.
