Newton County is working on a planning and visioning process that will shape the future of the community through an update to the Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is the main document used to determine how the County will grow and develop in the next 20 years.
The County leaders have specifically highlighted that it is important that we get input from those who live in the County, especially young people. This public opinion survey has been designed to provide you with an opportunity to let us know what you think about a variety of topics that the Comprehensive Plan will address.
Your answers will help the County in understanding the needs, goals, issues, and opportunities from the perspective of the young people that live, go to school, work, and visit Newton County.
