Get to Know Media Literacy and Make a PSA with a Pro

Our first workshop in March was a hit with the students who attended. Don't miss out on the next workshop on April 15 at Lithonia-Davidson Library. Students ages 7-13 will be introduced to media literacy concepts and learn about video production. Afterward, they will work with a professional producer to make a public service announcement (PSA).

This program is sponsored by the DeKalb Entertainment Commission with support provided by DeKalb Library Foundation. Registration required. This program will fill up fast, so click here to register today.

Did you know the DeKalb Library Foundation enhances partnerships between the library and other organizations? Within the last year, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Strong4Life and DeKalb County Public Library combined their strengths to provide resources to help DeKalb County families raise healthy, resilient kids. Librarians curated reading lists of books with resilience themes, while Strong4Life's experts provided caregivers with tips and tools to build resilience.
