From the library...

September is National Self-Care Awareness Month, and the library wants to make sure that you take time for yourself. Whether that’s a spa day, curling up with a good book, or meditating, take a moment and fill your own cup. Recharge and relax - it’s important. If you’re looking for other ways to practice self-care, we have the resources to help. Just stop by and chat with our staff, who would be more than happy to help!

In need of a gift for Grandparent’s Day? We’ve got just the program for you. On the 6th through 10th, we’re having a “Create a Keepsake Interview” program, where a younger relative can have a conversation with their older relative about their life and experiences.

Yo Ho Ho! Is it a pirate’s life for you? Join us on the 12th for a special “Cosplay for Scallywags” program with Missy Renfroe, owner of R.U. Board Games. She will be providing tips and tricks for creating affordable pirate cosplay.

September is also National Library Card Sign Up Month!

The Library is waiving the $2 replacement card fee throughout the September!

We are also promoting 3 different ways
to earn a chance to win prizes including a Kindle Fire 7, a $100 gift card, t-shirts, and magnets.

Learn all about it on our homepage!
