Summer Reading Registration
We’re All Together Now for our Summer Reading Program (SRP) at the Tifton-Tift County Public Library! Register from the comfort of your own home with this online form but don’t forget to come by TTCPL for your official SRP bag, reading log, event calendar, and more! Official SRP bags will be given out to participants starting at our Kick-Off Glow Party on June 3rd and running through July 27th.
The Book Sale
Summer Reading this year is all about our community. We know you are so excited to see what we have planned, and we are eager to share! We are kicking off our first community partnership with Espresso41 and giving you the reward!
Swing by the mall location and pick up one of these fun library themed beverages! Then bring us your receipt and we will give you 2 book bucks to use in our book sale. If you do not have a library card and you sign up for one (free!), we will give you a third book buck! (There is no limit to how many receipts you can exchange for book bucks!)
The book sale is very popular, and we are desperate for storage space so bring your backpacks, large totes, wheelbarrows, your RV…we will help you fill it! As always, educators and homeschooling families shop for free. Any county. Any level of education.
Glow Party
The Tifton-Tift County Public Library is kicking off the annual Summer Reading Program on June 3rd from 7–9 PM and would love for you to join the block party! It’ll be a night of family-friendly fun, late night snacks, games, karaoke, & more! Join the fun and pick up your official SRP bag with a reading log and SRP calendar!
Knit-A-Bit
Whether you’ve been knitting for decades or days, join knitter extraordinaire, Kim Spencer, at the Tifton-Tift County Public Library and get your yarn on! Don’t know how to knit? That’s ok — we’ll be happy to teach you. Knit A Bit meets again on Monday, May 15th at 5 PM.
Please note that youth knitters are welcome but must be at least 12 years old.
Nacho Normal Book Club
We don’t have boring book clubs at the library, as we have the Nacho Normal Book Club! The Nacho Normal Book Club will meet in the library board room on Tuesday, May 23rd 5–6 PM to discuss The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry by Rachel Joyce and enjoy some delicious goodies from Taqueria Hermanos Chavez.
