Mornings at the Library
We want to serve you! Would you be interested in adult programming in the morning or early afternoon? If so, we would love to hear from you. We have listed several programming ideas on our survey such as Book Club, Gardening, Crafts, and Learning Stress Relief/Relaxation. We also have a comment section for your own unique ideas. Generate a Genealogy Program
Every family has a history, and we want to help you discover yours! We’re planning a genealogy program, and we’re curious about what our patrons (you!) would like to see in one. Help us tailor our program by filling out this online survey. We can’t wait to hear from you!
Sweet Dreams Storytime
Get in your jammies, grab your favorite stuffed animal, and join us for bedtime books, soothing songs, gentle stretches, and a quiet (and mess free!) craft on Monday, March 13th at 5 PM. This program runs approximately 30 minutes.
Bouncing Bees
Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and more for babies and their caregivers. Bond with your little ones, make new friends, and establish the foundations of a future love of reading! Buzz by on Tuesday, March 14th at 10 AM for this 20–30 minute program.
Teen Trivia Night
Teens: Join us for trivia and fun on Tuesday, March 14th at 5 PM!
Scratch Club
The Scratch Club is the place to be to learn how to make your very own computer games using the friendly Scratch programming environment, and is open to all kids ages 10+, from experienced Scratch aficionados to curious beginners. The club meets Thursdays at 5 PM, except for the first Thursday of the month (come visit the Robotics program, instead!).
STEAM Team
Say goodbye to boring lectures and hello to a new way of learning! Join us as we explore concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through interactive experiments and games on Tuesday, March 14th at 5 PM.
For kids ages 6–11.
Anime Club
The teen Anime Club will meet at 5 PM on Thursday, March 16nd to watch some anime!
Sewing Friends-y
Sewing Friends-y is a project based sewing group for all sewing enthusiasts, from people who have never stitched before to those with years of sewing experience. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 4:00–5:45 PM to work on projects, both individually and as a group, to learn, and to enjoy the company of other stitchers. Sewing machines and supplies are available, but if you have your own portable machine, bring it! We have plenty of plugs and power!
Murder & Mimosas
We love true crime, and you love true crime, so let’s get together and obsess! Join us for Murder & Mimosas as we dive into solved, unsolved, and unexplained murder cases. We meet on the last Saturday of the month — our next meeting is March 25th. You must be 21 or older to attend, and an ID will be required at check-in.
Nacho Normal Book Club
We don’t have boring book clubs at the library, as we have the Nacho Normal Book Club! The Nacho Normal Book Club will meet in the library board room on Tuesday, March 28th 5–6 PM to discuss The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams and enjoy some delicious goodies from Taqueria Hermanos Chavez.
