Knit a Bit
Date change: Knit a Bit is meeting on Monday, March 27th this month!
Whether you’ve been knitting for decades or days, join knitter extraordinaire, Kim Spencer, at the Tifton-Tift County Public Library and get your yarn on! Don’t know how to knit? That’s ok — we’ll be happy to teach you.
Please note that youth knitters are welcome but must be at least 12 years old.
Let’s Play
This is a drop-in program on Tuesday, March 28th from 10 AM to noon where kids ages 0–5 (and their caregivers, of course) can explore different sensory stations, hone fine and gross motor skills through interactive play, and make new friends in a fun environment. You can come and go as you please, but caregivers must stay with their little ones
Nacho Normal Book Club
We don’t have boring book clubs at the library, as we have the Nacho Normal Book Club! The Nacho Normal Book Club will meet in the library board room on Tuesday, March 28th 5–6 PM to discuss The Reading List by Sara Nisha Adams and enjoy some delicious goodies from Taqueria Hermanos Chavez.
Teen Crafternoon
This teen crafternoon we are painting using a device not normally used for painting. Can you guess what it is? Come see if you guessed correctly on Tuesday, March 28th at 5 PM.
STEAM Team
Say goodbye to boring lectures and hello to a new way of learning! Join us as we explore concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math through interactive experiments and games on Tuesday, March 28th at 5 PM.
For kids ages 6–11.
Anime Club
The teen Anime Club will meet at 5 PM on Thursday, March 30th to watch some anime!
Scratch Club
The Scratch Club is the place to be to learn how to make your very own computer games using the friendly Scratch programming environment, and is open to all kids ages 10+, from experienced Scratch aficionados to curious beginners. The club meets Thursdays at 5 PM, except for the first Thursday of the month (come visit the Robotics program, instead!).
