Library Closed
October 9th
The library will be closing Monday, October 9th, for staff development. If you need to return books, our drop box is always open. It can be found between the library and the Syd Blackmarr Arts Center next door. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 10th, with our normal operating hours.
Adult Bingo Night

Get ready to shout BINGO! The Tifton- Tift County Public Library brings you Adult Bingo Night! Hosted by our wonderful Ms. Lesley, bring your friends for a chance to win great prizes and have tons of fun. Make sure to pre-register by giving us a call, or just come by and see us! Boozy Bookclub
October 19th
The Boozy Bookclub is back! This month we are reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Join us at Donatello's/ Savor the Flavor to talk books and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine. All patrons 21+ are welcome. Come see us at the library to pick up your copy, or feel free to access it on the Libby app, where it's available in E-Book and Audiobook!

Monday, October 2nd
No Programs Today: Come enjoy a relaxing day at the library! Though we don't have any programs, we still have so much to offer. Pick up a take-and-make craft for your little ones, or check out some great movies and books from our collection!
Tuesday, October 3rd
- 10 a.m. - Computer Class at Leroy Rodgers Senior Center: This programs is aimed at helping seniors understand the basics of computers, smart phones, and social media.
- 5 p.m. - Death Cafe: Visit the Death Café to eat cake, drink tea, and discuss death (facilitated by an End-of-Life Doula, Civil/Humanist celebrant).
- 5 p.m. - Wing It! Adult Crafting: Ready for spooky season? Join us for our upcoming adult craft night, "Wing It!" where you will get the opportunity to make scary little bat themed crafts! Make sure to pre-register by giving us a call, or just come by the circulation desk! We'll do it for you. See you October 3rd!
Wednesday, October 4th
- 10 a.m. - Artful Morning Adult Crafts: Ready for more crafts? For this month’s Artful Morning craft, we will be making decorative candy corn trees out of yarn and Styrofoam. A perfect way to start the fall season! Make sure to register by calling us at 229-386-7148, or by visiting us at the circulation desk!
Thursday, October 5th
- 10 a.m. - Reading Rascals: This program is a weekly storytime for the littles that includes stories, songs and a mess free craft. Caregivers must accompany their littles. Hosted by our lovely Ms. Anna, make sure to stop by and have some fun!
- 5 p.m. - Anime Club: Teens are welcome to come attend this program, watch some anime, and have fun! This week, we are watching Spy X Family and Assassination Classroom. No registration is necessary.
- 5 p.m. - Clases De Ingles: Join us at the Tifton Library for free ESOL classes held every Thursday! This program is designed for Hispanic participants to learn English. All are welcome!
- 5 p.m. - Hora De Cuentos en Español: Hora De Cuentos en Español: ¡Ven a visitarnos para nuestra hora de cuentos en español! ¡Los niños de 0 a 5 años y sus cuidadores disfrutarán de historias, canciones y más con nuevos amigos!

Spanish Story Time: Come visit us for our Spanish Story Time! Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers will enjoy stories, songs, and more with new friends!
Friday, October 6th
- 4 p.m. - Gaming Group: This program is for kids ages 6-18. Teens and elementary aged patrons can come play Nintendo Switch games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Games and controllers are provided.
Saturday, October 7th
- No Programs: Another calm day at the library. Though we have no programs to offer, we do have loads more. Don't forget to sign up for some of our upcoming programs, like bingo and crafting! We also still have slots available for our Paranormal Investigation fundraiser! If you love the paranormal, and are interested in the scientific aspect of unexplained phenomena, this program is for you. Stop by and register today to investigate this historic Tifton landmark.
