I visited for a quilting retreat, so my review is based on the dorms, food, and conference facilities. The dorms themselves are "no frills", meaning no phones, TV's or refrigerators. They are a bit aged, but I saw no indication of disrepair. The beds are a bit hard, but by adding a couple blankets under the bottom sheet, slept very well. There's no daily cleaning or making beds, but they do come around daily and empty the trash cans and replace the dirty towels. It's not the Hilton, but for what it is, the dorms are pretty good. The conference facilities are excellent. They provided us with ice, coffee, and I believe there was hot tea water, at all times of the day. The food was very good, especially the blueberry scones and roast beef. They provided us with plenty of tables and chairs for sewing, but there are only 2 outlets per 4 table cluster, so if you need more, be sure to bring power strips. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and professional, and too great care of us during our four day stay. I would highly recommend this location for small group events that don't require lavish facilities and accommodations. There were 41 of us, and we were all thoroughly satisfied.
