Great for kids. A lot of interaction activities for kids with a Discovery Center with a dedicated staff. Butterfly Discovery is open until the end of July. While we were there the kids in the tent (Butterfly tent) looked like they were having a great time. Given a paint sponge soaked in nectar and instructions. Learning in a fun environment. Glad to see young parents teaching our young with all the examples at the center. As 56 year old child - I had a great time.

My kids and I Loved this place. There are lots of shared areas, lots of animals, and even a small obstacle course for the kids to play. I went with my six and two year old and they had lots of fun. Make sure you bring water and snacks, especially if you go in the summer. There's a bit of walking but such a fun place...be sure to visit the butterflies!!!

Good time for small kids. Good specimens. Butterflies were really neat. Enclosures for some birds seemed very small -- maybe medical rescue needs dictate that? If there were refreshments available, we missed them. We will go again but as a safe nature walk for the preschool set and, maybe, a short canoe trial.

Very cool nature center on the Chattahoochee River in Roswell, GA. They have a couple trails you can hike and several hawks, owls, a bald eagle, and other animals. If it gets too hot, they have an indoor learning center with lots of fossils, fish, and activities. Great place to visit with the family. And the membership is a great deal if you think you'll ever go more than once.

We enjoyed our visit with our girls, 5 and 2. They liked seeing the animals and walking the trails. Everything appeared well kept and maintained. We look forward to going back and exploring more.
