Built in 1953, the opera-style Winterville Auditorium that was abandoned in 2002 is now being restored and will be the new home of the area’s only resident professional theatre company, Circle Ensemble Theatre Company.  It is located on the complex of the Winterville Center for Community and Culture at 371 N Church Street.

Tickets are $20 general admission; $15 for students and children. We are well known for our contemporary vision in telling classic stories. Previous productions have included: Metamorphoses, Into the Woods, Steel Magnolias, Romeo and Juliet, and The Diary of Anne Frank.

Come take advantage of the new heating and air conditioning in the Winterville Auditorium, which is being newly renovated. We are a non-profit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Circle will premiere a new family-friendly adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s timeless classic, Little Women, June 8 - 10, and 15- 17.  The Circle Ensemble Theatre Company and the City of Winterville continue their successful collaboration to profide professional theatre to the Athens area.
