This place is awesome there's a playgrounds. There's a lot of animals to see you can go fishing out there. And walk the trails. There's a gift shop and you can feed the geese. The kids love to feed the geese they are very friendly. You can plan a family picnic out there to and let your kids play on the playground. While you're eating. And when you walk the trails kids get to learn about every animal they see. And they have a lot so come ready to walk. Because there is a lot of animals to see. If it's summertime I always make sure to have enough of water. But the trails are pretty shady from all the trees so that's nice during the summer. Me and my family went this year and I love seeing the turtles in the water and all the animals that they have. And my daughter loved feeding the geese

Very nice place to take the family. There are many picnic areas, walking trails, drinking fountains, and a play ground. The trail to see the animals is paved and wide, very easy access for strollers or wheelchairs. The bear exhibit was closed for improvements on my last trip but the mountain lion was awesome. They also have bison, deer, turkey, owls, an eagle, bobcat and others. Worth the trip for sure!

Great place to bring the family for a FREE outing! Being your lunch, and you’re ready to go. Cleared walking trails throughout. Multiple animals exhibits to view in well maintained cages. Center also has pavilions, clean restrooms, a playground, and a children’s garden. The Wonder Room has various reptiles on exhibit. From bald eagles to chickens, this place has a little bit of everything.

I went here to mountain bike some of the trails and it was a beautiful ride; challenging and fun. I wish I had brought my bathing suit because along the trail I passed a beautiful lake that is open for swimming. There is also a beautiful little wooden open air chapel by the lake for weddings. I am a wedding photographer and I would absolutely love to shoot here! We also stopped and looked at some of the animals in the animal sanctuary area. I will definitely be back and will probably bring my grandson so he can enjoy the baby zoo and some swimming.

What a great place to visit especially with your kids. My niece who lives nearby took us here. They had quite an expansive area with many animals. Deer, eagles, beavers, groundhogs, otters & more! They even have an “old town” that you can walk through. The entire park reminded me of Busch Wildlife in Jupiter, FL. I’d definitely go back when in the area.
