Folkston Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course and driving range located in southern Georgia, only 30 miles north of Jacksonville. The course was originally designed by Ed Matson and opened in 1954. Golf enthusiasts and investors bought and renovated the course in 2009.
The Folkston Golf Club Golf Course has a short front nine that features water hazards on three holes. The back nine plays longer than the front and features many man-made hills which can cause uneven lies. Pecan and cedars trees line the fairways, and numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. Par for the course is 72.
We welcome you to Folkston to explore our historic city, visit Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, and play many great rounds of golf!
