General Coffee State Park

46 John Coffee Road

One of southern Georgia’s “best kept secrets,” this park is known for agricultural history shown at Heritage Farm, with log cabins, a corn crib, tobacco barn, cane mill and other exhibits. Children enjoy feeding the park's farm animals, which usually include goats, sheep, chickens, pigs and donkeys. Overnight accommodations include camping, cottages and the Burnham House, an elegantly decorated 19th-century cabin perfect for romantic getaways.

I saw the park on the map and decided to take a trip to visit. This is a beautiful park. The canopy trees are absolutely gorgeous. On our way out, we stopped to use the restroom and got lost in the beauty. We ended up walking around the cabins and then around the pond. I would love to have our wedding here but it's just too far for our families.

We love this place so much. I love coming to fish with my kids and dogs. We love it so much that we had my son's birthday party here this year. It's a great family fun place.

General Coffee State Park is a wonderful park that you can go to relax, take your family for a day of fun, take a stroll down the trails, or just go unwind. They have a beautiful theater area that is perfect for an outside wedding and the trees are amazing. The pond is great for fishing and the animals love to socialize. They also have rv hook up areas and shelters for parties or family get togethers. You can't go wrong visiting this park anytime of the year.
