Georgia Peanut Festival

About Us :

The Peter Pan Peanut Festival is held annually in downtown Sylvester, Georgia during the 3rd weekend in October. Thousands of Georgians flock to Worth County to enjoy the festivities and if you haven't been yet, you don't know what you are missing! The festivities kick off on Saturday with a Parade downtown on Saturday morning at 10:00. Bands, clowns, cars, local celebrities, politicians and Beauty queens abound during the Peanut Parade! It is a fun event for the entire family. At Jeffords Park, located next to the old locomotive, we have arts and crafts, food and entertainment. Again, this event is fun for the entire family! There are so many artisians and vendors that everyone is sure to find something that they just can't live without! The Parade and Arts and Crafts festival are only a portion of the fun. One of the first Peanut Festival events each year is The Miss Georgia Peanut Festival Queen pageant. From toddlers to Miss, this pageant is a fun event that you don't want to miss. We hope that you will join us in celebrating one of the largest industries in Georgia at the Peter Pan Peanut Festival held right here in the heart of it...the Peanut Capital of the World!
