Main Street Gallery, located in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains, was established in 1985. Since that time, we have dedicated ourselves to discovering new artists as well as nurturing our relationship with established artists.
We maintain a large inventory of contemporary folk art as well as traditional folk pottery and handcrafted furniture. Our gallery is housed in a renovated storefront building in historic Clayton, Georgia. We feature three floors filled with original artwork by self-taught artists and craftspersons.
Clayton is about 80 miles northeast of Atlanta, Georgia and approximately the same distance southwest of Asheville, North Carolina. We are within 30 minutes of Highlands, North Carolina. In addition to the natural beauty of the mountains, our surrounding area offers many outdoor recreational opportunities such as white water rafting on the nearby Chattooga River.
