About the Theatre:
Theatre On Main is home to live stage
productions for adults, youth and children, the Theatre On Main
Community Arts and Theatre School (TOM CATS), and School Day Theatre
productions that enhance the school curriculum. Each live stage
production offers open auditions for rising stars and seasoned actors
of all ages. Adult shows are performed on Friday and Saturday nights;
childrens' shows on Saturday during the day. Performances by touring
companies and community groups are presented in the Theatre throughout
the season; check our Show Guide for details.
Tom Cats provides hands-on theatre classes for elementary and middle school students and culminates each session with Saturday performances. Summer camps for ages 6-9 and 10-14 are offered all summer long.
School Day Theatre performs for school groups, in area schools or in the theatre. We provide teachers an activities package aligned with the Georgia State Curriculum Standards and a chance to have extra fun with their students!
