A great museum that is well laid out, has many interesting items and a terrific film that is very informative. If you think that you know the story of Ty Cobb and his life, you might be surprised when you learn actual facts supported by research. Visit this museum if you are a true baseball fan and want to be educated about the best player of all time. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful museum. Only complaint is they have only focused on Cobbs positive. Friendly and knowledgeable curator. Baseball history buffs will enjoy.

Ty Cobb: A great ballplayer and a greater Georgian. Unique collection of personal relics and preservation of Cobb's legacy. A misrepresented man in the mainstream light; this museum showcases Cobb's lasting effects that reach beyond baseball.

Wow, what a great museum. Staff is so knowledgeable. Had a wonderful visit and learned things about Ty Cobb I didn't know. We were in Georgia for a week, and this was one of the highlights. Would definitely make this stop again if we're ever back.

This is a nice little museum dedicated to the town's favorite son. It's in the lobby of a medical center, with the ticket counter and gift shop occupying the entrance and the actual museum taking up a suite. The multimedia displays are informative and there are a few Ty Cobb artifacts, but mostly just reproduction pictures and displays. It was an enjoyable stop, but some of the museum seems to be aimed at rehabilitating Cobb's reputation and a 'dirty' player.
