This unique staged play is charming as it is powerful. Hands In is a non-profit group based in Athens that crafts staged performances for the deaf. They’ve created and performed numerous large-scale productions, including a twist on The Wizard of Oz called “No Place Like Home.” They take original scripts and transform them into stories told through American sign language, bringing art for the deaf into the mainstream. Their newest show, Ever After, is Saturday, January 12, 6-8 p.m. at Quinn Hall Memorial Park. Tickets are just $7 in advance and $10 at the door.
