This moving drama created by Suzan Lori-Parks takes the stage at the Cellar Theatre through Sunday, Feb. 24. This modern take on the Scarlet Letter features an inner-city homeless family as they struggle through impossible obstacles and choices. Tickets are $12-$16 dollars, with showtimes at 8 p.m. (2:30 matinee on Sunday).

Can’t get enough cornhole? You’re in good company! CornholeATL is holding registration for their Spring League, bringing players from all over the city into a single arena. This seven-week league gives you a chance to compete for trophies, prizes, and bragging rights. Even if you’re not at the top of your cornhole game, there’s a division worthy of your talents! It’s all going down at Southern Brewing Company on Wednesday nights.

UGA is ablaze with performing arts this weekend, including an operatic performance of Don Pasquale. This beloved Italian opera is equal parts moving and comedic, with a modernized twist that brings a whole new perspective to what opera can be. Though completely in Italian, guests can follow along the script with specially created supertitles displayed throughout the performance. Tickets range from $6-$20, with shows running from Friday, Feb. 22 through Feb. 24.
Athens’ Morton Theatre brings international cultures under a single roof. This celebration of dance features a weekend full of stage performances highlighting the skills of students from the East Athens Educational Dance Center. Ballet, jazz, tap, modern, hip-hop, and other styles will be presented in this two-day showcase. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
