Local Athens talent takes the stage on Tuesday, Dec. 18, to perform 14 acts of holiday singing, dancing, and music. On Stage Walton and the Morton Theater Corporation have teamed up to present this delightful holiday-themed event to Athens. Musical talents include vocalist Amy Miller, a jazz band, the Moyuba! drummers, and more. This event is free but donations are strongly encouraged (a suggested $5 at the door). The show starts at 7 p.m., and you’ll want to come early as seating is first come first served.

This foodie’s haven is hosting their monthly wine tasting this Wednesday, Dec. 19, starting at 5:30 p.m. For just $15 per person, guests can expect a generous sampling of five different wines (selected by Five Points Bottle Shop) and gourmet snacks. Wines change on a monthly basis, so no two third Wednesdays are quite alike. Seats tend to fill up fast, so it’s best to make a reservation.
This free yoga program is a recurring monthly event, taking place this month on Thursday, Dec. 20. Open to the public, each yoga class is led by professional instructors from Five Points Yoga. It’s ideal for new and seasoned yogis, so don’t let experience (or lack thereof) stop you from joining the fun. They will provide yoga mats, but you’re also free to bring your own.
