From circuses to music festivals, Georgia is welcoming in the warmer weather with plenty of community activities for its locals and guests alike! Georgia is also in the news this week as one of its residents is taking her singing skills to Hollywood for American Idol. Here's what we've got going on in the Peach State.

Rocklanta, Atlanta, GA

Atlanta’s getting ready to rock this weekend, March 29-30. One of the biggest concert series of the year, Rocklanta will feature a stunning lineup of bands, including Firehouse, Dangerous Toys, and Babylon Shakes. Presented by Brad Lee Entertainment and hosted by Center Stage, you’ll know who’s who in rock ‘n roll!

Savannah Music Festival, Savannah, GA

This weekend kicks off the two-week spring music festival in beautiful Savannah. Head to Forsyth Park starting March 28 to experience more than 100 performances in jazz, classical, and other genres. The festival also includes workshops and seminars that channel your inner music lover.

Georgia celebrates Small Business Week

Small business remains the backbone of the Georgia economy, so it’s no surprise that governor Brian Kemp declared March 18-22 “Small Business Week in Georgia.” ASW Distillery (Atlanta), InPrime Legal (Marietta), Oyster Fine Bamboo Fly Rods (Blue Ridge), and Southern Fiber Worx (Cordele) were named Small Business Rock Stars for 2019, recognized for the impact they make in in their communities.

Water Circus, Tifton, GA

Cirque Italia is bringing a whole new show to Tifton starting March 28. Fusing the stunning acrobatics of the circus with the tranquility of water, this unique twist is nothing short of stunning. The show is also heading to Dublin, Winterville, and Dalton in April, giving you even more chances to catch this one-of-a-kind show.
